The Process

When we are appointed to work on a consultancy project, whether it be short or longer term, we usually begin by carrying out a strategic review of the existing operation to gain a robust understanding of the current business, before providing a detailed action plan to implement change where needed.

If we are being asked to look at the overall business, the aim of this action plan is two fold - revenue growth and cost control.

Firstly, we will recommend activity to ensure your key commercial drivers are as good as they can be -  including your brand positioning, your product and service, the customer experience, your marketing, your sales strategy, how guests find and book you, your team culture - all which impact your productivity and revenue growth.  

On the other side, we will also look at costs and what we can do to better control costs and increase profit margins.  

By addressing all of these areas, this in turn will help to drive revenue, improve profitability, create a memorable guest experience, encourage positive guest reviews, and improve your competitive edge.

If we are being asked to focus on certain aspects of running the business, such as marketing, this is what we will review and come up with suggested action plans to specifically improve this function.

After agreeing what needs done, we can then work hands-on with the owner and team to guide and deliver the change.
